The Foyt Boys Are Headed for the Super Bowl


WALLER, TX Jan. 30, 2008—The Foyt Boys—Larry and A.J. IV—are headed to the Super Bowl this weekend.
With everything going smoothly at A.J. Foyt Racing, Team Director Larry Foyt and his girlfriend Annie Neikirk will be at The Game in Tampa, FL with A.J Foyt IV and his fiancée Casey Irsay, who extended the invitation.


Foyt IV became engaged to Irsay, the daughter of the Indianapolis Colts football team owner Jim Irsay, on December 3rd while they were vacationing in Wyoming. They are planning a July wedding.


Super Bowl XLIII will be the first one the Foyts will attend and both of them are really looking forward to the game which will be played in the Raymond James Stadium.


Tonight they will attend the NFL Commissioner’s Ball which is open to invited guests only. Tomorrow there’s a golf game on their schedule at one of the many beautiful courses in the Tampa Bay area. Tomorrow evening isn’t penciled in yet but they are confident it will be by tonight.


As for the game itself, they both pick the Pittsburgh Steelers to win even though their hearts are with the Arizona Cardinals.


“I hate to say it but I believe Pitt is going to win…their defense is amazing!” said Foyt IV, who was an avid football fan years before he met his fiancée.


Larry Foyt agrees saying, “I had a dream last night that the Steelers won. I always like going for the underdog but Pittsburgh is too tough.”


The Super Bowl gets underway Sunday evening starting at 6 p.m. eastern on NBC with the pre-game show starting at 1 p.m. ET.
