What are some of your favorite memories? Winning the Indy 500.
Working with A.J. He is a very talented driver. He understands
the car, what makes them work.
When did you decide you wanted to race? I would go to the track
on the weekends by my grandparents, it’s a small 3/8ths mile
track. In my early 20s, when Scott Brayton became a driver (in
the 80s), I started working with him as a weekend warrior and
that’s how I got started in Indy Car.
What do you drive? Harley Davidson 150 Ford Truck
Do you fix your own truck? No, I have a rule, if it needs tires
you trade it in.
Describe your Perfect day: Winning the Indy 500. Get up, come
here [Indy garage] at four in the morning, running the grid,
prep for the race and end up in Victory Circle and that would be
a perfect day.
